CAVE CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH!

Cave City Christian Church is located in Cave City, Kentucky, the Gateway to Mammoth Cave National Park. The church is situated in the historic downtown area, close to antique shops, motels and restaurants. All tourists are welcome to “come as you are”.

Cave City Christian Church has been serving this area since 1867, when it was first started as a Union church, sharing a building with the Baptists, Methodists and Presbyterians. The church was remodeled in 1967. Following a structure fire on April 9, 2000, the church was again remodeled and rebuilt, and now stands as a beacon of light and life in this community. The congregation is affiliated with the independent Christian churches of the historic Restoration Movement.

Please accept our invitation to come and worship with us any time you are in the Cave area. We are a church Where Christ is honored, and you are loved!

MISSION STATEMENT

FOR
CAVE CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH

To win the lost to Jesus Christ through Evangelism.
To welcome those who enter the body through Baptism.
To witness to the equipping power of Jesus Christ by edifying his people.
To worship our God and Father through exalting His Son, Jesus Christ.
To work for our Lord and Savior, ministering encouragement in His name.
This statement keeps before us the 5 things that God wants us to do.
1. God wants me to be a member of His family.
2. God wants me to be a model of His character.
3. God wants me to be a minister of His grace.
4. God wants me to be a messenger of His love.
5. God wants me to be a magnifier of His name.

BIBLE PLAN OF SALVATION

Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is God's only Son, that he died for you and rose from the dead for you, and confess your faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10

Repent and turn away from your sins, and be baptized into Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38

Continue to live for the Lord and serve him. Revelation 2:10

"Loving God, Loving Each Other"
That's the theme we are building around in this new year of 2010. Jesus said that these are the 2 greatest commandments. Each Sunday morning for the next several weeks, Bro. Wayne is developing this theme through a sermon series by the same title. Each Sunday morning, his messages will alternate between the Biblical implications of Loving God and Loving one another. Check the "sermons online" section to listen to any messages you might miss. There will also be opportunities to put these teachings into practice so that we can see the power of Loving God, Loving Each Other!
